Sea kayaks have been a main focus for us since 1994. We represent Nimbus, a local manufacture of premium quality fibreglass and Kevlar sea kayaks.

When purchasing a sea kayak, think about where you plan to paddle, and what is your skill level. More than any other boat, a kayak needs to fit your body size. If the cockpit is too big, you will not have the control to lock your knees or thighs under the deck when paddling or leaning in a turn. Long, narrow boats are fast, wide hull with flatter bottoms have more initial stability. Hull shape needs to be discussed.

For kayak rentals we offer Boréal Design, new Narwhal 16ft x 24 inch wide fibreglass hull, an Alvik 17ft x 23 ins and a Fjord 16ft 4ins x 22.5 ins wide with skeg This boat is light weight, and stable – great for paddlers with some experience. For novice paddlers, we have the Boréal Design Esperanto plastic Double, 19.5ft x 30ins wide.
